Adl (The Practice of Justice)

Justice begins in the quiet chambers of your heart where you choose to see every person with fairness rather than bias. It is the practice of placing everything exactly where it belongs, honoring the rights of others even when it requires sacrifice from your own desires. When you act with equity, you align your inner self with the balance that governs the entire universe. By being just in your small interactions, you become a witness to the fairness that Allah loves and upholds.

“Indeed, those who are just will be with Allah upon pulpits of light, to the right of the Most Merciful, and both of His hands are right hands. They are those who are just in their judgments, with their families, and in what they are responsible for.”
