حفظ اللسان

Hifz al-Lisan

Day 23 · August 29, 2026

Guarding the Tongue (Hifz al-Lisan)

Your words carry a weight that shapes the world around you and the peace within your own soul.

Choose to use your speech as a vessel for kindness, knowing that silence is often a form of prayer itself.

When we speak only what is true and beneficial, we guard our hearts from the unnecessary noise of the ego.

Let every sentence be a deliberate act of grace that honors the listener and the One who gifted you the ability to speak.

قال رسول الله ﷺ: مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَصْمُتْ

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.”
