Kindness to Neighbors (Haqq al-Jar)

Your home is a sanctuary, but its peace extends beyond your own four walls to those who live closest to you.

Small gestures of kindness toward a neighbor, like a thoughtful greeting or an offer of help, build invisible threads of community and safety.

By treating your neighbors with care, you reflect the expansive nature of faith that seeks to foster harmony in every space you occupy.

Remember that goodness begins in the immediate circle around you, turning a simple neighborhood into a village of mutual support and grace.

قال رسول الله ﷺ: مَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ

“Jibril kept recommending me to treat neighbors well until I thought he would make them my heirs.”
