Humility is the quiet recognition that every excellence we possess is a gift from the Divine, meant to be carried with grace rather than pride.
When we cultivate an inner sense of being small before the Creator, our interactions with others naturally soften, shedding the weight of ego and status.
To walk upon the earth with true humility is to elevate our souls while keeping our feet firmly planted in the reality of our shared humanity.
Let today be a gentle practice of listening more than speaking and serving others without the desire for recognition.
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما نقصت صدقة من مال، وما زاد الله عبدا بعفو إلا عزا، وما تواضع أحد لله إلا رفعه الله
“Charity does not decrease wealth, and Allah does not increase a servant in anything but honor for their pardoning, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises him in status.”
